The Dumbest Things You've Seen A Profession Do
As the title implies, simply list the dumbest things you have seen a profession ever do. Use my list and a template if you need too
PvE:
Warrior: Leading large mobs back to squishies.
Ranger: Pulling by running into a mob then running back.
Elementalist: Tanking... without stances/enchants/etc...
Necro: Using Verata's Aura instead of Sacrifice, in an area with no enemy MM.
Mesmer: Super Egos of Doom, flocking like birds to "defend" their godliness.
Monk: 55ing Tombs... quite funny to see.
PvP:
Warrior: Running a tank build.
Ranger: None ~ as of yet.
Elementalist: Running fire nukes.
Necro: None ~ as of yet.
Mesmer: None ~ as of yet.
Monk: 55ing in PvP.
Disclaimer: All is opinion, and its my opinion :P

Monks in PvE: Spamming heal breeze and other 10+ energy and spamming "I need energy!" after every fight

Mesmer PvE:
Spamming conjure phantasm.
Interrupting wrong skills.
Using Backfire on warriors.
Standing close to the tank and drawing aggro.
Playing a domination nuker.
Thinking surge is a staple skill.
Using chaos storm, at all.
Playing a secondary class with fast casting.
Using IW in group PvE.
Backfiring a target... then interrupting it.
Running a pure degen build.
Fast casting nuke spells and running out of energy in 3 seconds.
Rushing straight in and casting after the tank, without assessing situation.
Spamming wastrel's worry... bonus point if they have SS on them too.
There are more... oh yes, there are more... and I'm not going into PvP.

Disagree. Chaos storm is great under the right circumstances. YMMV.

The only thing chaos storm is good at is costing 15 energy to break aggro. If you really need a self-preserving AoE, use symbol of wrath. The damage is pathetic, the energy draining is minute, its an utter waste of a slot.

I just saw a ranger last night completely screw us over in tombs on the last level by running past the two patrols to go attack the wurms... which ended up pulling both groups onto us and proceeding to get us killed. Needless to say, we were pissed.

me personally
I played my warrior as hammers exclusively for months then switched to axe skills one day to see what all the fuss was about damage wise, it was a full 30 minutes of unimpressed expression before I noticed I had forgot to change my attributes out of hammers too.
oops
and as a necro the first time I saw bip was when I capped it.
on teamspeak...
"wow this is cool I can give you guys LOADS of energy.. look"
*thud*
"ah! er hefty sacrifice on that one though!"

Symbol of wrath only operates on adjacent enemies. Chaos Storm can break up aggro for anyone in the group. Anyway, don't want to get into a religious argument. As I said, YMMV.

War: Iway war
Ranger: Iway trapper
Necro: Order necro, I dont mind the tainted necros there alright.
Mesmer: Fast cast orders
Elementalist: not waiting for monsters to be setup right for proper nuking
Monk: watching former 55 monks try to play healer or prot and stink at it. Also them trying to sneak into your group in Toa is amusing.
Mo/War: Im a healer
Me: Like hell you are
Me: boot mowar= ftw
*kick*
Me: I'm using ward against farmer monk!

The best i would have to say was a n/mo with a sundering war hammer or something like that. Level 20 during the whole mission thats what he used, didn't seem to use any skills thought he was a warrior... i was the monk so i was kind of dumbfounded at this. Should of taken a screenshot lol it was too funny dumb.. but funny for the rest of the party

E/Mo with hammer yes, tanking with some smite spells and using heal area while fighting. I don't know if he did that on purpose because it's the most hilarious thing I've ever seen

Seeing a mesmer cast Backfire on a warrior.
Seeing a warrior use "Victory Is Mine!" when none of his foes are suffering conditions but he's Poisoned and suffering from Deep Wound.
